thats the plan, even got a big arse dent in the hatch
I will try and get more of the paint off the bonnet though,

Yeah the hotwires look rather hot, they sit inside the guards rather nice with a little low and little camber

added a few more bits today, was cleaning the shed and kept finding things it needed

Raised it up a tad more aswell, it still has no engine in it so the front will come down.
Random thing i noticed is the front passenger and rear drivers is 5mm lower then the other 2.
Will this even up when engine in? or did this car have some chassis flex?

Ill sort it out once i got engine and battery in ect ect, i reckon it should even out. Probably needs a drive around block to settle aswell

Still been plugging away at this,
Add a few more bits to engine bay,
Cleaned up a heap of parts.

Pulled the 1.6L down, figured id slap new gaskets on one day,
All seems pretty good, headgasket wasnt blown, but its cheap enough to do it while its out. gives me chance to paint block aswell.

Will get the head face machined to make sure its flat before i chuck it back on when its ready to.

Also undecided if i should paint the rims black, looks pretty cool in the photochop

**** yes. Black that **** out!

I'll make you a deal... when you paint your car I'll paint mine

I wish I could say I've torn down my engine like that, would love to give the bay a proper go-over.

    Good work n that.
