Well, some of you know that this car has been off the road for a while (September last year!!)
It's fixed. It runs flawlessly and with Aydan's help, I fixed the surging problem.
Turns out, as Aydan found out when it came loose while driving.. That the rear pump screw that holds the rear support bracket is absolutely crucial. I forgot to refit it when I first put the pump back on and this was the cause of the surging problems. It seems that the surging is cause by harmonics in the pump that cause the collar to float without throttle movement.. Taking away the rear screw stops the harmonics from traveling through the pump and continuing elsewhere.
Oh, I also re-mounted the front number plate down to the original mounting points and off the bumper. Looks HEAPS better.

Turbo has been contemplated. I have a turbo off a T4 transporter at the workshop.. Might be too big, though.
Gave it a wash tonight and washed the engine bay.. I can see out the windscreen now.... Hahaha.
The Glow plug switch isn't working and the thermo fan isn't coming on.. Oh, and the CD player has stopped working.. So I have a few electrical issues to sort out. Hopefully just fuses or something. All this stuff used to work.. Haha.
