if its that bent, butcher it and bend it back so it does fit - who cares?
trick is to squeeze the top and bottom parts in towards eachother, then the bar will begin to move back to original shape.

yea bend the bar back into "shape" yourself. I wouldn't dream of rocking up for a slip/roady without a bumper bar on!
Put the bumper on it mate, beat it a bit, who cares what it looks like realy.
By law it should have endcaps and no protruding sharp bits.
You are suppossed to have working washer squirters and a heater that can put heat onto the screen.
Horn is another one that can stuff you and worn pedal rubbers.
If you have tried and havent got obviously illegal stuff and the car looks tidy, you should be fine.

any one know if the auto brake pedal rubber is the same size as the manual one?
