Are original Mk1 wheels and tyres worth anything?

I can't believe how hard it is to get rid of any MK1 parts - we're pretty tempted to chuck everything in the tip 'cause we want the space back!

ywa thats always the trouble. no one wants spare bits, but when someone needs something, no ones got it! ha. catch 22 really.

yeah dont tip them , just give them away if you dont want them. or if the tyres are okay sell them for $50

Yeah the tyres are really good hence why i thought they would be worth something since they are original Michelins.

Are you saying they are the original tyres since 1970 ? I don't think 36 years old tyres can still be used .

Im not sure when they are from but they are Michelin MX tyres and look pretty original.

I had them on my car for 2 months and they felt fine as a tyre before i upgraded to 15" BBS's

if they are original someone who has a mint MK1 might want a set of original wheels and tyres?
