Are original Mk1 wheels and tyres worth anything?

Are they worth anything as i have a set of Mk1 13" wheels with 165 Michelin MX tyres from the 70's in very good condition.

Or should i just take them to the tip?

Probably not "worth" much money wise. though it'd be a shame to see a perfect set go to the tip.... IMO

I might put them on ebay and try my luck maybe some crazy german or pom will pay eleventy billian dollars for them

i wouldnt tip them... theres still people around (like my dad) who loves the original wheels. he'd probly pay you $50 for a set.

yeah dont tip them , just give them away if you dont want them. or if the tyres are okay sell them for $50

I can't believe how hard it is to get rid of any MK1 parts - we're pretty tempted to chuck everything in the tip 'cause we want the space back!
