Thanks to ffoff I now have a starter motor but didn't have time to put it in to see if she cranks over. Will probably do that during the week. I hope I am right with the fault. But on the other hand, might have a complete S3 setup heading my way soon!!!!

Bad news - now that you're an Aussie you've decided to buy a Holden.

Good news - You're only going to drive it on weekdays and save the Golf for weekends.

BAD NEWS:

I have to wait four weeks for a wrecked car to be delivered at my place which I can use to do my project.

GOOD NEWS:

I AM GETTING AN AUDI S3 2000 MODEL DELIVERED TO SET THE AWD MK1 BUILD IN MOTION. Can't wait to get started on that build.

So you'll have 2 x MK1's and the Audi?

Are you getting the Audi complete? I might be interested in the interior.

Couldn't sleep any further so I was browsing the forum.

The guy who owns the S3 is keeping the interior, and I will be getting a rolling shell with all my goodies in it.

Only gonna have one Mk1, with the S3 gear being put into it. Yes, AWD GOLF MK1.
