    Thats epic. Such a massive level of commitment to a job, bet he had an awesome time doing that too.

    I'll tell you what else, this is so useful for novices like me to get an idea of parts and engines and such, I know the engines different but to see each part like that with a caption will make it so much easier when I get around to messing about in my engine bay.

    you could to so much to the engine bay with a electro plating kit that would be awesome!!
    Especially since i think you have my brothers old mk1?! he's going to regret letting it go lol

    That's pretty much what i've gone thru with my 16v.. Only he got it done in less time. Hahaha.

    Wow! Inspiring stuff! Makes me ashamed of the greasy, rusty, everything-held-in-with-cable-ties excuse of an engine bay in mine.

    Love the finish of all the plated parts, especially those nickel plated parts that have the 'gold rainbow' look on them. Looks better than factory!
