There are a few possibilities. If you have a blank or unused sender on the top of the oil filter thats the best. Or on the end of the clyinder head above the gearbox. There will be either a sensor or a blank there too.
just wondering where to connect the capilary line to read out the oil pressure?

If you want to keep your light when using the cylinder head sender aperture, buy a "T" piece. They're available from most accessory stores and some engineering and plumbing outlets.
sender should be on the head if possible as you want to know that there's press to the top of the motor. As for the spare you could put an oil temp gauge in near the filter which would give you an idea also that the general temp of the car is incheck.
Cheers Dave
