Nup I'd do it the colour of the car to be honest. And get badgeless
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

blue would stand out too much imo, either chrome with badge, or badges and strip thingy-less. imo keep the front gti badge too
blue would stand out too much as apposed to my original red trim ?
if i do have chrome trim there will be nothing elce on the car that is chrome therefore will not fit the cars theme, i wanna try keep it one style
i think the red isnt original enough, and im gonna be doing the 16v engine lettering, motorsport blue aswell...
ihave 2 sets of grills with trim so i might give it a shot with my chrome trim one, that way i have 2 styles... red trim and blue trim.. and if none of them work... ill go late model badgeless

Stick with the red trim imo, do you have a full chrome trim? im missing the top and bottom pieces on mine!!
76 MkI 3 door - daily drive/project - 1.8 5speed
76 MkI 3 door swallowtail - 16v track car
76 MkI 3 door "long term" project
well in that case. hmm... late model badgeless might be the go. I'm just not to sure about the blue really, thats all..
That blue actually looks pretty cool, in a "different to the norm" kind of way!
i think its time for shaved rear dont you??
