I'm really likeing how this lil cabro is turning out!
well... just finished putting the engine back together today with the hepl of my dad
and here is the finished product, well just gotta fit the AC and alternator and shes done
and with the polished bits im heading towards that "brushed/polished" look
dunno what im gonna do with the gearbox though... wether polished or black............

Looks nice mate. Black retains heat, so your cooling system will need to be tip top.

i just welded a circle piece of metal where the antenna hole used to be,
gotta weld up the 3 holes in each rear guard and then find a place to attatch the hidden antenna
also my gauges for the bonnet will be coming 2morrow..... cant wait to show you guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there not what you think!!!

er, AC in a cabrio??? :S black 16v looks good.
heck yes...... no way im putting the roof down in 35-40 degree weather... ill get sun stroke while driving

look good wabit. i say go black with the gear box, tends to suit the motor, and can you imagine trying to polish the box??? it isn't exactly smooth... if you know wat i mean
Engine is looking great mate, all coming along nicely. Hope its all done for nats, I wish mine could be too but i doubt it.
