    i was thinking the same thing. are they carb? or injected?

    I think the lesser version is a 1.6 injected and the GTI equivilant is 1.8i.

    There is a large tuning movement in SA and you can have any modification you want. I think thets why the ones that came to oz from SA have such a wide variety of trim and equipment.

    None of the body panels on the Citi Golf are the same as Golf 1s either.
    Does anyone know what the suspension set up is?

    Whats with those fuel consumption figures? Does the journalist carry his entire family plus their friends in the back when he takes a car for a test?
