well, so far for me i have a bigger cam, forged pistons, port n polished heads, 10/1 compression, ported intake manifold, bigger injectors, full 2in exhaust, longrange racing gearbox with syncro gearing, standard interior, got a set of crystal lights and clear indicators coming from america, getting euro red and clear cabrio lights coming, now looking for porsche 944 wheels polished, but too expencive at the moment due to me being 17 n all, then i might rip out the 8v engine and drop a vr6 engine n gear box or leave it 8v and get a turbo setup from the states!! hmmmm dunno yet.... all i know is that it eats ss commodores and wrx's for breakfast, and im loving it!!!

Just a word of warning that the VR6 engine does not bolt staright in. It requires lots of chassis and other mods and would take a highly skilled engineering workshop some time and money to complete.

Either turbo your 1.8, or get a 16v, which will bolt straight in and is a good swop for useable power in a Mk1.

Enjoy the car, sounds like its a good one. Is it LHD?

    And welcome to the forum.

I am in Sydders, but am doing a parts run to Melbourne next week, let me know if you want anything.
