I remember when I did my Mk1, the rubber seal was so tight I could not fit the chrome windows insert strip.

Cheer, I think the trick is to have the chrome in before fitting. I had a guy do it for me thigh.

Only the second time this whole build I've paid for labour. Everything else was all me.
