New mk 1 newbie checkin in!

    Hey all, hows it going?
Hi,I'm Jarred and I love cars. I've always like cars, mainly anything from the 70's, including Golf mk 1's! I havn't got a mk 1 atm, (i currently drive a Ford Laser - woot.) but i am looking at buying one soon, infact I'm going to look at one this weekend hopefully! It looks really neat and hopefully has no hidden rust! My plans are, wether I get this one or another, is to make it look very 70's; so steelies, plenty of chrome, bit of a retrimmed interior (velour, shagpile?? haha), wood rimmed steering wheel (as off the old passats i think?), lower the suspension a bit, old school roof rack maybe? and go nuts on the engine - eventually. Well atleast, thats the plan!
Heres the like to the car, tell me what you think!

    (I hope that works!)
anyways, just thought i'd say hi!

    peace

Go for it mate - it looks pretty tidy.
If its been well looked after (as it seems to be), it would be a good find alright.
