Your exhaust will fit.. Dunno whether it'll help though! hahaha. :)
Nice score mate. Put a blower on it!
Congrats,
One approach might be to reg and RWC as a diesel as you don't have to worry about the pollution side of things.
Once it's reg'd just slap a SEAT 1800 in it with your weber. Cheap, easy and goes like stink. Really quiet too with a hydro 8v , diesel box & sound deadening. (But I could be biased!:))
Pete
Cool... Lets take it easy in this one 'ey :duh:
Nah im sure you'll cook something up
U night be involved in the cock part mate... :nana:
good on you jarred. :) i will drive my golf around tomoz and say hi :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I actually want to fiddle around with diesel for a bit. I've got plans for another golf, much further down the track, hopefully it'll be my "ultimate" golf mk 1. Need to save more for that though. j:
so it'll say diesel for now, and i might even fiddle with bio diesel even,. The rest of the plan I'll make up as it I go along. But first is rust and possbily a repspray, then RWC and reg'd. hopefully by feb next year.
Then plenty of cruising, mk 1 style! :D :driver:
I would keep it stock, use it as a daily cause gld's are about the cheapest runabouts you can get. you should get around 700km to a tank.
mod that silver one in background if any?
anyway i'll be the prick who asks how much did it cost?
Just put the diesel in the Mk2 and smile all the way.
