ohhhhh matt black FTW!!!!
always wanted to do mine in it, never a huge fan of the beige haha until few months back - time to crease my trousers and tuck my shirt in before i head down to the local lawn bowls club perhaps! lol

i reckon keep the gold wheels, but either way hot damn im savin those pics to the mk1 folder!

i did everything i thought i needed to do... i would like to see you do what i have done at my age.

I did go through a similar thing, just didn't get quite as ambitious, rego'd two un rego'd cars now, both were dramas, which is what I originally said to you that it would be harder then you think and it took a lot longer then you hoped, just like what happened to me, twice now. (once at 17/18 then this year at 20, but I did a lot more work on the second car.) I don't mean it against you, afterall, we are both young and think we know it all :p

Still it's good to see it rego'd, paint it properly, flat black looks **** within a week.

i think i may have a date tonight though... told her i would pick her up but then she saw my car and said "i'm not getting in that!" so i guess i need to find someone who will

I can say I've never had a girl say that. So the lesson here is, don't get a Mk1 Golf and paint it matte black if you want to get chick :p
