    sweet yeh thanks boys i have done a few windscreens on bugs i'm guessing they are pretty much the same yeh? we used rp7 in the channel and electrical wire 2 guys and some slapping

    i did it by myself.... you guys are SOFT

    i did use some red rubber grease

    pffffft doing it yourself doesn't make you hard..

    getting help is just easier man...and faster...beetle windscreens are my forte easy as pie

    After seeing the windscreen guy do mine, it realy is easy as pie, about as easy as it is to do the rear 3/4 windows on a 2 door

    yep. easy as pie. used a bit of string (needed something thicked thou) a bit of WD40 and hey presto.

    I saw somethig on clubgti ages ago that had a write up on how to do them in a mk 2, but it's the same for a mk 1

    I was hard at work on my golf thius arvo and got the engine bay in primmer...it still needs work but its a guid coat so i can see the stuff ups underneath and fix them

    here you go:






    also built this k-jet box at school but i made it too long and it won't fit so i will hack the end off on tuesday next week and weld it up a lil shorter
