You make me move towards the sign writing place. Since they do specialize in stickers and such.. thanks mate would never have thought of it. I just went past and saw clear vinyl contact liek the ones for books, a whole 1.5m roll for about 5 bucks. I want to try it but am scared if it fades or shrinks due to heat, when i try to take it off it will take have the stickers off too .. so i'll jsut do more research.
On another note, i just got a stock exhaust from a friend, from his Civic Ek. It has the same dimensions, and hopefully ill be able to put it on soon, because my current exhaust is too loud an driving me crazy.
My carb will also be going up for sale soon because they way i drive it drains my petrol, and its a performance carb. Only thing that pisses me off is, as i take corners, there seems to be a sudden loss of fuel and the car cuts out. Its very strange.. any thoughts? (this has been going on for a long time)

What pete said! Just need to get the carb sorted properly, that's all.
pretty sure he has a carb off a falcon, if the jets havnt been touch it will use bucket loads of fuel.
Go a 32/36 weber, i have a list of jets and what not to use a base start for a 1.8L

What sort of economy should you be getting with a32/36 weber on a 1800?

The other day i put in 14L of fuel, and got around 120 kms.. but thats me driving VERY slow and changing early.
The carb has already been jetted down, but still is ment to be for a 4.1 Falcon XF
Ill have to ring the guy up as it was rebuilt less than a month ago. Hopefully he can jet it further down..
On my way home today, not even turning, just going dead STRAIGHT the car started jerking back and forth, like a fuel shortage, then after 5-10 seconds went back to normal. This happened 3 times. Im getting quite annoyed

my old 1.6 did around 12's, But it was never set up properly, and ran rich. (over jetted)
George, when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter? You could be getting some crap/debri in the fuel line/ fuel flow, which is causing the jerky ness.
I'd be checking all your jets for crap in them dude.![]()

ive heard that you can rev the car up to around 3k and slam your hand over the carby with the filter off and the sudden vacuum rush in it can suck all the crap out of it.
Ive seen a mechanic friend do it once or twice, its usually a 50/50 fix, as sometimes it can lodge crap further in the circuits
Also, 80% of your driving will be done on the Idle circuit, so getting that setup spot on is crucial
