When you say "skips" do you litterally mean the inside wheel (in the direction your turning) skips?? if yes, you probably have a welded dif. which is super sweet
You should totally change that dump pipe exhaust tip to an upsweep pipe. I have a chromed steal one here if you want. PM me Pic are on my thread.

I reckon when you're going round the corners the float bowl of the carb is emptying. I had a similar problem (though I never solved it) I believe the fix is to adjust the float level a bit higher. That is, instead of the car 'skipping' it's actually cutting out moementarily when you're going around a bend. it's almost as if you're on and off the throttle like a switch, which makes the car jump around a bit. perhaps it's even similar to a learner on 'kangaroo juice'!

I'm hoping Pete Jones can elaborate on this a bit.

Nah Jarred, i'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the float, nor the carby. Even said so ill give it a quick drive around the block tmoro to see if i can give a bit more description. Although what the problem feels like, is driving with the two rear tyres flat if that makes any sense?

It just sorta jumps or perhaps the impression of the wheels rubbing. (im almost positive its not the wheels as i wasnt turning all that much and have never had this problem before). It just shakes, and rumbles on cornering, although not violently. My old man reckons it could be bearings or the drive shafts or control arm not tightened up properly. Unsure yet, anyway had this kinda problem before ??

Sounds like a collapsed CV joint. If the inner cage is smashed the bits will jam up inside the joint.

Best bet is to pull the drive shafts out, dismantle the CVs and take a look. They're probably due for a re-grease anyway.

Actually, didn't you have these apart before? Perhaps they didn't go back together properly, you can assemble them "locked up" and they look OK but won't work.

Yeah i did have them re-assembled. The thing is the first time they locked up they didnt work and didnt go in as well as they were very stiff. Second time roudn we got them fixed and running smooth.

I dont know what it is, but its wierd as it only makes that noise/shake on the turns. None the less sat or sun will have to be jacked up and pop a look in. Is there anything specific to look out for ? eg something not tightened properly, not on properly, broken etc?

Might be cool if you're into Commodores, but that sort of "skipping" is definitely not a good thing man! haha.

Worked on the bay again today. Guess its pretty much done, with only a few things left to do like paint the rocker cover and other cosmetics.
Tried to hide as much of the wires, and will most likely hide ALL of the ones i can when i get a bit more time.

Its a bit hard to see, but i got these thin skins that cover the hoses and give it a Braided Hose look. They look really good, and want to add some more.

You guys can also see the way i have ran/setup my f/p. Its a tiny bit noisy without music playing as its pretty much right near the cabin and the firewall. Meaning
it gets on my nerves sometimes haha.

This is basically what i have to gotten up to. Looks kinda good, but i want to add some blue hoses etc

Well today we had a look at the brakes. Tried to bleed it, but there was no air, it was just fluid. Even though it seems to be fine, the brake pedal goes straight to the floor and we have no brakes at all?

Could the problem be the master cylander? If so how much would one cost roughly..

Master cyl. is most likely bypassing. Can't remember what they're worth new, but not a ridiculous amount.
