thanks for that, im actually changing the engine as soon as i find another one, so ill get the mounts fixed.

as for the repair after the prang, well that cost me a fair bit of $$$. im still 16 and to be putting more money into getting it fixed was quite hard of a choice. but i think at the end im glad i did it, inspite of all the panel beaters and what not telling me its not worth it. they obviously dont understand golfs LOL!

well, while the golf was being preped for painting. I just managed to finish my seat rail for the bucket seat. the other seat which Suzuki Swift went in good. they fit in pretty good and didnt move around much thanks to those little plastics that prevent it from doing so. it was really really hard to find a new pair of them hahahaa. the seat went in fine and looks quite good, well so i think.

i also bought Volt and Oil pressure gauges and thought id put them in. the great thing about golfs is that there isnt that much wiring and electricals inside. and all the time iv spent underneath the dash fixing the wiring loom, i knew it back to front so putting in the gauges was a peice of cake.

NO, i have actually removed the fan and the box in the middle/underneath the dash. i spent a full couple of days trying to fix it and at the end i just gave up and removed it.

i just ended up covering the holes and putting something in the way of where the fan went. ill take some pics over the weekend and post them for ya mate. thats if you want.

    LOL!
What engine do you want for it? If you just want to swap in another 1600, I have a good one you could have for the cost of shipping to Victoria. I have too many engines and not enough space
