Where do i find the timing marks on my engine? My teacher was looking today but we couldnt find them. Are they on the belt cover (that metal/plastic cover thingo) Or am i looking in the wrong place?

on top the gearbox mate, below the rear water housing on head. undo the screw bit, you will see the flywheel.. the is a DOT and and DIAMOND, dot is TDC, diamond is 6BTDC
