good to see you still have it mate! Good stuff!
July last year put the house up for sale and started a new job leaving my golf and family behind.
house sold in December and the family moved to me, but what do you do with a golf that is unreged and
has been sitting for 2 years?
Well you get a permit check the oil, pump up the tyres, make sure there is not to much sponge in the brakes
load it up with most of my spare parts and some tools, fill it up and hit the road for the four hundred k trip
after reseting the timing on the road sat back and had a blast.
some pic's
yes if you are 6 1 and over weight a mk1 golf is a great long distance driver
oh and there were locusts lots and lots had to clean radiator half way.
so now it is at a friends waiting for his shed to be finished and then a full resto this time.
good to see you still have it mate! Good stuff!
