Cool My old cabby, start of project

ok so a few people from this forum have owned her ,
I originally imported her in 99 after a trip to LA,
it was supposed to be a throw away car but I loved it after the first drive I had to keep it,
I got a towbar from pickapart so I could haul my stash back to the storage unit,
I used to hire a 4x3 foot garden trailer from uhaul,
I once carried a 440 big block and a 304 chev both with trans back to the storage unit,
it was the longest 40 mile trip ever, I couldnt go over 60kph as the inner cvs were making a terrible noise,
I changed the cv with another good one at the storage unit on the ramp up tp the top level, used my $8 breaker bar from harbourfreight haha,
I also swapped out the trans (got a noisey 2nd gear) in the carpark with 2 scissor jacks and basic tools, took me around 4hrs,
so after I scoured the pickaparts for other stuff to bring home I also got all mint interior parts to replace the rough bits, got some cheap new 15x7 mags, a nice 89 jetta long block at a half price day at pickapart ($45)
picked up a nuespeed front bar and anti stress bar along with a set of adjustable perch bilsteins for the rear for $75 from pickapart,
visited a place I think it was ABD, the young guy that owned it was the first guy in the US to do a modded TDI, it made all the mags at the time, I got a pair of vented cross drilled rotors fot the front, clear tails and front indicators, also a killer deal on the euro front plastic bumpers, $99 for the set from memory,
so I shipped it back along with 5 motors and about 10 rx7 lsd centres (that paid for my container shipping)
so here it is after all the bit were put on (excuse the bad pic, its all I have)

I dont have any after the rebuild but I did the RHD conversion using a south african import, added the flares and resprayed it, fitted a new roof, retrimmed the seats and added the audi head rests,
then she got driven again, mainly by my female friends haha, they loved it,
I sold her to buy a hilux around 12 years ago,
    now I bought her back

so have started piecing her back together, man she has had a hard life, interior is trashed and one of the front seats has been swapped out, so a retrim will be in order, I may put in a set of leather 924 seats I have for the mean time just to neaten it up,
I picked up a set of AC schnitzers in 16x7.5 yeah I know they are a bit big but if I can get 40 profiles it should be all good,

I have got a new roof, a mint pair of door caps, some good top latches, some gas bonnet struts and a bunch of other bits and bobs but first priority is to get it running, no fuel at the moment so suspect fuel pump, runs on startyabastard,
I will keep you all posted, and if anyone still has the original drivers seat I would love to buy it back, even just the head rest
