    My new 2 door swallowtail.

Well I'm slowing down on my 4 door project....it's winter (well almost) and my work space is COLD so I bought the yellow 2 door that was also on ebay. Alistair threw in lots of bits and pieces and topped it off by throwing in a Weber. What a guy. This car goes a lot harder than I remember my '77 did when it was new so maybe it's had something done to it already.
While I was there I also bought a 1.8 twin cam, minus 1 cam so that will turn into another project as if I needed one.
Also had the pleasure of meeting forum member H J Simpson who was there further depleting Alistairs stocks.

That's the one. Toff took a stack of pics yesterday as he wanted them before I raise the suspension a couple of inches. Has to be done as it's quite nervewracking dodging anything higher than an inch. Alistair was going to raise it an inch himself. Also, although it's hard to believe, the dash is completely unmarked...what a bonus!

you can thank me for the dash haha!!! Used to be my old car, it's honestly awesome driving it around as low as it is, but it does get a bit limiting at times, especially when speed humps are involved!

Hope you like it mate, it's a ripper of a car!

What size are the tyres? they do look pretty low profile, and on 13's!! can imagine it hits everything !

Toff here. Tyres are 175/50r13 all round, Alistair had another brand new set in his garage but unfortunately they'd been pre-sold. Bugger. Wheels are 13x6 front, 13x8 rear. Ideally they'd be changed to 13x7 all round, but unless we can sell these for a decent price they'll be staying where they are for now.

    Less talk, more pics:

This happened backing it into my garage, there's a bit of an incline before it goes flat inside, car decided to lift itself..

RX7 playing nice with the new kid.

    Looks good mate.

I'm hearing you on the 13x7 all round front. That would look nicer I think.
