    my mk1 GLS cont.

    thought i would get a new thread going since this car doesn't fit the title of my other thread....
    old thread which will still be updated with any progress on the GLD

    i've fixed some. the bad bit around the windscreen is done. the rest can wait, i just wanna get it on the road so i can start scamming for chicks. lol

    it's be nice if i had an old man with skills like urs

    love that wheel and tire combo, shame the whitewalls go brown. was looking at getting some for my beetle but maybe not......

    i know of some people who've had this type of white wall done and it's stayed white alot longer. front and rear tyres are different and the rears are browner than the front i think maybe the tyre type might have an impact. i dunno. might still be ok.


    you can only get a genuine stripe white wall in 75 profile tyres from what i've seen. otherwise i'd just go for genuine ones.

    plates! aw yeah!!

    had to have the tyres flipped coz the whitewalls removed all the tyre information.. lame!
