probably to much as i would have to pull the mount off my motor to get the correct line and at the moment car is still siting in the garage 6mnths now and can't get it runnning for some minor prob can't find and no one up here wants to help out.
What i can suggest is that if you can weld or know someone that can i can give you the method i used.
1st i cut the mount i was going to use down at right angles retaining the one of the mount pieces and cutting away the other as of yet i had not made any measurements. So what i'm left with is a u shapped piece with a little over hang of the other u shapped bit if you look at the pics u will notice what i mean. Then you will need to mount the larger half of the bracket onto the block, the alt onto the other piece then you will need to line the pullies so that their as in line as possible at the same time as butting the two cut pieces together. You might need someone to mark the position for you as it might be easier. Then tac the pieces together so their strong enough to support the alt then if you happy with the pos finish the welds making sure not to put to much heat on one side as it will pull out of shape. The little over hang i mentioned left over from the other u shapped bit i left on there is so i had enough to put a strong weld on.

If you havn't a clue what i'm going on about i could mark the bracket i've got here with a few instructions shouldn't be to hard to follow through on as it took me about 2-3 hours with a few smoke breaks.
oh also you will need a bit of flat bar to secure the mount onto the front of the motor.
I'll go down stairs and see what i can put together, may have a spare bit of flat bar already cut with holes in it.
You will need an allen key bolt that has only half of it's head may have a spare also.
for my trouble think i'd want about $60 + p/h
i'll just have to see what bits i can send as in bolts, bracket, flat bar though i think i can find most bits to make another bracket.
Man sorry for the long story, but if i was to tell you the trouble i went to just to get to the stage of saying f*#$ it i'll make my own you'd be reading a novle.
    Cheers Dave
let us know what you want us to do sorry i can't make another but i tell you it feels good to fabricate something yourself and have it work :!:
Also the fact that i can help out people like you save a few hundred on the price of one.

    Again Cheers Dave

here's what i would be sending if your interested note a few lines marked that's were i'm talking about cutting.
the short head allen key bolt is to clear the timing belt after mounting, the flat bar you will notice is in the pic above that you can see the alt fan in view.

    Hope that helps
    Thanks Dave
ahh what the hell a pic of me dash to not that helps with the alternator

Don't take this the wrong way but 2 years for a 16v conversion is a bit long buddy.
You 'll be too old to enjoy it soon
A stir might get you fired up to finish it off

G60 wheels? maybe. Nice alternator bracket mod. Looks like a 77 alternator bracket, the kind with emissions control, cut down to make a 16v mount. Now that I like and I`ve got a few in the workshop. Good work. Two years of looking at it is too long. Lets see the thing on the road.
