I`m happy with it, but there are a couple of marks inside the doors that he will touch up for free when the car is going. Oh yeah he colourcoded some stuff for me as well, included in the price

That sounds like a pretty good price for a full respray with colour change, even if you had the car stripped and ready to go.

I will definitely have to keep them in mind when I get the funds together to give my baby a re-spray, although in my case I'll be going for the same colour it is now, or at least something similar enough that it can go over the top. Good thing is it's pretty straight and shouldn't have toooooo much rust to be cut out.

1st things first I need to have the local mechanics give it a good inspection to make sure I'm not missing anything. More than anything else I'm just trying to avoid tipping as much cash into this project as I did into the last... only to have it written off by my brothers mate

Beau came over for a final tuning frenzy and finally got the motor singing like a bird.

A very loud high revving bird.

    Gratuitous engine bay shot

The engineer actually came to my house!!!
I did some road tests and melted the throttle cable, so I couldn`t demonstrate it driving for him. He just said he would believe me and wrote the cert!!! Its 4-6dbs louder than legal. About 100-102 at 4000rpm! Maybe I should put another muffler.
