    New floors

    Cut-price Looney!! No mate. If you can afford it put in new floors. The car's worth it and you won't regret it! It's the old balancing act...to spend or not to spend.....Must have had a bad doorseal, damaged seams or windscreen leak in the past. Pity. Rest looks OK. How's the windscreen surround?

    Enen dash looks ok. You`ll have to take that silly GOLF badge off the bact though.

    Good stuff Paul. looking forward to seeing it completed. Restoring it to orginal sounds awesome. All for it.

    Im looking to start a new mk1 2 door project soon aswell. So i will be on the look out for a decent 2 door in the very near future .

    Water leaks in Aussie made Golfs were standard equipment!

    Look for body cracks on near the front suspension mounting points also.

    how do you replace floor pans? do you weld new over, or cut and replace?

    There are certain places you can buy all new floorpans and seat bridges, but shipping them down wouldn't be very easy
