Not sure how the engine mounts will be for daily driving dude. If they are as stiff as you mention I may stay away coz I'm scared my bay with filler will crack haha. You will absolutely love the car with the weber too, once tuned. Sorted choke out yet? And I love the gentlemen gloves

I love them. But yes, some of my filler has cracked but that'll all be sorted later when the engines dropped out and the entire car is resprayed... one day...

And no choke as yet but looking into a manual choke set up

ok so here we go... a whole lot of photos and yeah, pretty self explanatory..

    wheels arrived

    extractors painted ready to roll

    old vs new

blanking plugs for the injector holes, old vs new (old were hollow so had $2 coins blocking the holes into the head... :/ )

went down to menshed, a charity workshop a mate's old man runs

the adapters i picked up had been drilled through, so we tapped an M14x1.5 thread into two of them and got new wheel bolts to suit

    test fit time...

    new leads

rebuilt carb with new gaskets etc

    the bay currently..

this pretty much all happened yesterday, that ripper 28 degree day... a whole lot of the fellas came round and everyone got stuck into the beers, and then sure enough we all went down to the beach and got fish and chips to top it off

should be going in for a roady test on monday or tuesday, once the rest of the system is installed...

...it currently sounds ridiculously awesome just with the extractors on but the neighbours weren't too happy about it
