    MK1 Wheel Spaces

Just after recommendations for MK1 wheels spacers.

I have a set of MK3 steelies and I am running as much camber as possible that the coilvers and camber bolts will allow on the front - this doesn't leave much clearance between the coilovers and the tyre.

Just after some suggestions as to which wheels spacers would be best and that can raced on (main issue) without saftey worries....

    thanks.

You'd probably only need 5mm spacers (or narrower tires)? Repco, Autobarn etc,
You might also need longer lug bolts for slip-on spacers.

Pony up for some proper ones, and bolts to match.

I would be wary of non hub-centric spacers, which is what I imagine is whats on offer at Autobarn and the likes.

I got mine on ebay, came with longer bolts and all.

These are shifty in my opinion.

Those ECS ones are more like it, more expensive but oill not give you unbalance and vibrations.

One thing to look out for is wether the bolts they provide are ball or standard taper. If you are running steelies I'm pretty sure you will need ball taper.
