Any reason theyd be blocked off?
Also on the lookout for a front driverside quarter panel, rear passanger door and a lock for the rear driver side door, same style as the one pictured above, if anyone has them lying around![]()
The 2 water hoses go to the heater (under the dash) and back. It's common for a heater to fail on a 35 year old car so some people just block off the rubber pipes. What they should be doing is joining them together so water flows out one and into the other to reduce hot spots in the engine.
But I have 2 hoses going to the heater. I have a hise that comes out the block and into the intake manifold. It then exits the manifold, runs through a valve hooked up to the heater control panel in the cabin and then to the heater motor. Then has a direct return line to the water pump..
No hoses come out of the blockl that I'm aware of.
This is pretty common sense stuff.
You are being very naive.
I suggest you buy a workshop manual and work a few things out for yourself.
Best way to learn !
