A proper fitting bucket seat will give you a huge boost in driver confidence, especially when you're not holding onto the wheel for dear life
Thanks for the kind words Paul
The car and I have come a long way these past few years.
The car currently doesn't have any bracing or swaybars whatsoever yet.. but I'm saving all that for a rainy day. I have a rear sway bar that nseeds some links made up and I plan to make front and rear top strut braces and a front lower brace along with some A pillar and roof repairs. all in good time. First and foremost, I need to address my wheel alignment (mostly the rear to :/ ...) decent bucket seats and I've been on the eternal quest for the perfect wheels.. so I gotta sort that out haha

- Orange Golf mk1 LS, 1.8 5speed, 32/36 - sold
- Golf mk1 Swallowtail rebuild, completely stripped
- Brown U.S import 81 cabby

Be sure to not "over tyre" a Mk1. My old man ran 185/60/14 in Yoko IPRA control tyre for a long time.
Spend your money of brakes, handling and seat time before you get some fancy track tyres.
Well done and im enjoying your updates!
As far as brakes go, they haul ass. So that's done
Seating will be taken care of, most likely a pair of saas fixed back seats. Car Handles well but will need to spend time in that department. My goal after all this is to win a bet of producing 100+fwkw without spending over $500 hehe:/:/ gonna be quite a task
