Just run some 13s with some 205 R888 Proxes for some real fun
77 Mk1 GLS 2 door - That sinking feeling
76 Mk1 Swallowtail 2 door - Replace that BMW & 76 Sweetheart
Nice work - I managed a best of 1:45.XX with my GTI last year with the 2E engine, but I was having over heating issues, racing in summer didn't help either. Good to see it get out there
Audi S3 8L - Stroker GTX3582 700bhp+

I ran 205/55 on a 14x6 wheel on the cabby and it was sweet man. Although you could feel a tad of tyre wall flex in extreme cornering, even though the tyres were semi's.
Id still rate 14s though, look very period correct!
- Orange Golf mk1 LS, 1.8 5speed, 32/36 - sold
- Golf mk1 Swallowtail rebuild, completely stripped
- Brown U.S import 81 cabby
- 88 Honda crx b18cr
Wild Garrett appears. Uses boost, it's super effective.

I've just read the whole thread from stat to finish. Makes good reading how it's progressed from a standard 1.6 with rust to what you have today. Well done.
I couldn't see anything about a rear sway bar, did you ever get round to fitting one?
That and a lower strut brace make a big difference to how well you go round corners.
Cheers
