I had a word with the guy from MMI and he is building a cheap ass grenade race motor just for fun to see how much he can get out of a 1800 8v using stock parts. He has had some input from a couple of good guys with runs on the board and thinks it will come up with a silly rev limit and a bit of poke for a tin top.

Absolutely awesome.

Loving the mechanical hillborn style injection & camshaft driven injector pump.
Love to build something with that setup for the street.
Where would you start to source part's?

The VW Brabhem look's like it has the old skool slid throttle setup. But I'd say it's a very early version throttle plate style.

This is one of the F3 engine builder's. The complete head's aren't cheap as would be expected, but everthing else is reasonably priced.
