Early 911s had weight built into the front bumper bar to help with their atrocious handling.

Really, that bad handling must have helped them win winter rallies (ever heard of the Monte Carlo) and road races all around the world, france ,germany ,mexico etc,do research before making these statements.

    he's meaning in the 60's..
from '64 they put about 10kg's of cast iron in the corners of the front bumper to keep the front from lifting at speed and to improve the handling. In '67 they replace the single battery with twin batteries, and put them in the same spot as the weights, thus removing the cast iron blobs. the twin batteries were to help moving the volume of the oil in the oil cooling system.

They put weights in hot air balloons , ships and tractors I don't see them wining many rallies to say Porsches have "atrocious" handling is a bit silly it's not like anyone ever really crashed one is it !!!! Erm

Looking great, mate! Keep that work going. It almost gives me enough motivation to get back into my Mk1.

Finally … Its Started after a bummed ECU, Actually i think United Motorsports in the UK had something to do with that!!
Then i was left to tracking another one down, and (Julian Jones) here in Sydney did the ECU properly and we got ignition!
Any one need an ECU done here is his number 0405808488 also as a mechanic the guy has sorted out ALOT of project cars
for people and is great at solving headaches!
