I think registration and VIN on the same public page is a bit of a concern to be honest but if people are comfortable with that then no stress.

Well if you sell a car on ebay/carsales then it's expected.

Not that much can really be done with them...

Anyway, yeah no pressure for people to have to put up a vin if they don't want too.

I really want to try to keep it as it makes removing dupes and finding the history of a car much easier... any ideas???

See where I am coming from... what is worrying you about the Reg specifically?
