    Coilovers anyone recommend

Hey, i currently have spax adjustable shox and koni 30mm lowering springs but want to drop her down even more as not happy with how she sits. I like the look of the yellow mk1 3 door that comes up on the picture bar when you change pages. I have the same alloys but want her to sit low. ps anyone got window chrome surround for a 4 door gls mine is crispy and falling off. Not sure what to do with it??

Hey mate I have JOM coilovers which I like A lot. Nice and stiff but makes the handling 100 times better. The yellow one I think has removed helper springs but if you want to know his set up read his build thread - mk1 gls cont. Should be on page 2 by now. Hope this helps!

JOM are real popular on eBay so you can pick up a full set usually for around $900. But if you keep and eye on the classifieds around forums like this, often they can pop up for 600-700. I got mine through a forum for just 500 brand new!! Also maybe check out hottuning as they are a similar product but may have a more competitive price. Also a friend contacted spax international and had a full set shipped to his door for just under 1200 so yeah few options

Gotta have a good condition back to get away with these piece of **** cheapo coilovers.

Spend more, get some quality ones (and no, that doesn't mean hottuning). My 2¢.
