    Mk1 Ignition system and other bits!

    Hey all,

    The work continues on my GLS and its getting so close to running, the 1.6 has been pulled out and the engine bay is clean ready for the new heart (1.8 from a mk3 CL). Im in need of a few crucial things to have it setup how I'd like! The main things are the ignition system. I need the following things if anyone has them lying around I have cash waiting!

    Ignition control module from a mk1 or camira or anything else that has the same one...
    A dizzy from the mk2 golf or mk1 cabby that has the vacuum advance.

    A few little extra things I need but arent urgent are:
    Radiator, anything that fits whether that's a mk1 radiator or a Barina I dont mind!
    Brake booster, once again anything that'll fit.
    210mm Clutch and fly wheel would be nice as well.

    Are you running fuel injection or carby?

    I'm pretty sure I have the ignition module (are you talking the module that normally sits up on the firewall)? If that's it then you can have it for the price of postage.

    I also have a brand new 210mm flywheel (LUK brand) you could have for whatever the current US price is converted to AUD.

    I'll be running a carby, I'll be doing roughly the same setup as Mark's Mk1 Ragtop build

    I'm definitely interested in the module and flywheel mate. Reckon you could private message me some prices and we can figure out postage as I'm in Victoria!

    MK1's don't have an ignition control module. The key turns on the power to the coil which is triggered by the dizzy. Carby just need a constant fuel supply, preferably from an electric pump. Very simple to setup and troubleshoot if anything goes wrong.

    MK1 Cabby's have an ignition control module because they run fuel injection.

    can do Radiator, choice of 2 mk1 radiator
    Brake booster, orig Mk1.
    maybe 210mm Clutch and fly wheel ....
    also have a single point injection from Cordoba...incl loom and cable etc if interested
    will do a package deal
    and happy to freight..egonline ...my depot is close so cheap..
    german - english translations esp vw documents!!

    Dismantling 95 Seat Cord'a and 73 campers and 74 dc van !!! Some Mk1 and t2 ant3 gear in my stash,,,
