    Even a 1.6 8V Mk1 Gti will out-perform a Mk4 Gti, provided the Mk1 is a real and well tuned

    Are you sure - the mk1 might have a better p/w ratio but the huge torque from the turbo should make up for alot of that.

    Lets talk 0-100km/h times ?
