1500 Diesel Pistons

i have recently aquired a 78 GLD for a hundred bucks, and stripped it to find a head with 2 holes blown in pre combustion chambers thru to water jackets on end 2 cylinders.
so went on the net to find a head and new pistons, , well i assumed the $hit house, . . i mean auto haus in the U.S had sent me the correct ones, apparently not.
i have got a couple of fotos, if anyone knows if they are actually 1600 units can confirm this for me, as the paynes , . . . i mean haynes manual doesnt mention gudgeon pin diameter. !

if anyone knows of an Aussie supplier for this stuff id appreciate their name ,

some on ebay at times

keep checkin the diesel posts here
I do have a box of diesel bits ie valves, seals and rad hoses, starter etc diafragm in box..
odds and ends really, I would pass on cheaply (also considering postage re distance)to you
if interested also Mk1 parts ie lites....as I am selling my house.

theres a vw guy in queensland that says he has 1.5 diesel pistons, you will want the first or second oversize. http://www.mickmotors.com.au/
