Hi all
Please help, 2 years ago I pulled my electrical loom apart and didn’t really do a good job of labelling things.
Now I’m stuck as to what wires go where in the upper terminals G&H? I’ve tried everything, searched all over the web and worked off the Bentley manuals for the correct wiring diagram.
The problem I have is every wiring diagram appears to have a slightly different layout
I would really appreciate it someone could let me know where the wires should go or even better send a picture of their fusebox with these wires in position.
The car is a 1977 or 1978 Auto MK1 golf
Thanks
Martin

Thanks guys
It turned out those connections as circled in yellow had nothing to do starting the engine.
The main thing I wanted to do was to be able to start the engine. After chasing the circuit around with a multi meter it turns out the small copper connector that’s mounted on the base of the auto stick lever was not bridging the power over to the starter motor. After taking this off, cleaning, re-checking it allowed the current through and I was able to start the engine. Also the auto level needs to be in park or neutral.
Last night the engine fired up for the 1st time in 2 yrs..Its load though with no exhaust!
