Thread: Mk1 GLD or Mk2 GTi?

    Worth of GLD

It's very hard to estimate the worth by looking at digitals. The car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. My red GLD was advertised on this forum for months before anybody took any notice of it. I sold it for $2000 which is what I paid for it.

    Very true.

$2,000 will get me most of the way to what I have spent so far and will allow me to get into a new Mk2 without hitting the wallet too hard. Mortgage + family + toys don't tend to mix as well as I would like, but then, at least the boy is cute so he gets away with it

He is a Daddy's boy, and he loves his cars, mums being a relatively boring Subaru Outback, Dad's of course being something much nicer.

I will have to work out exactly what funds I can scrape together, then put the GLD up for sale in the for sale section. Then it's time to have a more concerted hunt for a new vehicle.

The real shame is you can't buy the Citi
