Cool MK1 Fusebox and dashboard circuit repairs

Anyone on here happen to know an auto electrical place thats specializes in the early card style fuse boxes and maybe any where on the internet where you can buy a NEW printed circuit board for the dashboard electrics? Used to have Greens auto electrics in Perth who did the fuseboxes but he has retired. Anyone know anywhere in Australia? And No not just any auto electrical place will do as I'm not paying some idiot to open the box up and put some electrical clean in it, i've already done that, This needs a rebuild to NOS spec. I want an old school specialist who does good work.

Shorts on Headlight and rad fan circuits, no power across some terminals which use to have power and the tell tale was when it decided to let the smoke out. It doesn't get wet and all the wiring is new, tested yesterday and had been running fine for 9 months. Tested all circuits and there are dead shorts on the fuse box itself hence the need to have the cards renewed or rebuilt. (prob just get a new one) and the dash circuits i have got all have very worn contacts and all have some corrosion, some more than others which also are causing a voltage drop to some instruments. Volt reg is new and working fine hence the need for these two parts

Ever thought about upgrading to the later blade style fuse box ??? Will be doing a few of them for my cars if your interested. Basically same as late model Cabrio's etc

Printed circuit card is going to be the tough one... e bay .de or try vw-classic parts.
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
    Grant...

I pulled one apart years ago, I reckon it would have been '89 or '90. Several things didn't work, lights and indicators was some of them. I carried out some wire repairs to restore the rotted out tracks.

    Worked good.

Ultimately a new fusebox would be best IMO. Getting a blade fuse box fitted would be pretty complicated.

Thought about the later model fuse box but really like the simplicity of the early box as when i finally get to the haltech most of the fuse box circuits would be unused so don't really need a big lumbering late model fuse box. Yeah i'm just going to buy a couple of new boxes in from classic parts but the printed circuit is completely unavailable unfortunately.
