Loads, if they started using different hub design/CV specification you could easily get the wrong bearings.

Hey all, looking at some front and rear wheel bearings and outer cv joints overseas.
The few places in Aus are much too exxy, does not make sense to buy locally when its going to cost around $50 more than to import it
Now, question is, when I look at wheel bearings, it says 06/77 onwards, my GLS is 04/77... how much difference could there be?

$50 is not a big difference, unforseen shipping costs or an error in the order could easily gobble that up.

Dont know which of the few places you got prices from locally.
I guess you need to ask your o'seas seller the question about the differences in the bearings.

Thats fair enough, I did not think about the shipping costs.
Can you post when you find a cheap bearing supplier?
