    Wow!!!!!

Way to revive a lost & forgotten thread.

Looking back through all the old Mk1's is pretty cool, so may as well up date mine alittle bit too.

Had a stock take a while ago now & got rid of rusty mk1's, so here's the current list of cars.

    3 x 76 all Swallowtails

    2 x 5 dr's
    1 x 3 dr

    1x Smashed 83 GTI Campaign.

The spare cars are nearly all standard, apart from partly stripped or robbed of parts

    My daily driver.

8v turbo K-Jet with a list of Mods as long as your arm & wouldn't have a clue where to start.

    Phase 1 "initial build"

    Phase 2 "Turbo build"

Not much has changed since DOVW. Just the front tyres are alittle bit lower on tread.

    1600 high compression flat-topped 8v
Weber 40s with extractors and straight through exhaust
5 speed close ratio (LSD to go in before next season)
    Short-shift "Missing Link" kit
    Golf Ball shift knob
    Chassis stitch welded and plated
CAMS roll over protection + additional bracing
    10mm Aluminum bash plate
    Branz rally computer
    Willans 5 point 3" harnesses
FAI spec Vello podium II seats
    2 X 1kg CAMS spec fire extinguishers
    4 X IPF driving lights (2 spot, 2 flood)

I have it now and just voted so hopefully that does not skew the equation!
