    Scoob,
I imported a whole load of parts from Cape Town from the 2007 Citi 1.8i R
Used Barons VW Garage. Mechanic was Tauriq - very helpful and good on what i needed and how to resolve problems.
Website link: Contact Us | Barons Culemborg Volkswagen

Beware it is a very expensive way to go... shipping alone cost R 3800 plus the Australian Import Tax was around 600 bucks.
    Parts I got were:
Dash (incl fittings), cluster, steering wheel, ECU, Wiring Loom, Rubber seals, Front grille
If you need any other details give me a shout and i'll help where i can..
    Cheers,

    Jim

    Man that looks clean.

I'd leave it as is but do as James (Water Boy) says, drop it about 40mm and it'll be sweet

Woah .........talk about thread from the dead .......

GY is a 1.3 small bumper Citi golf. Came with a solid lifter head.

And you still need to lower it !

Congrats on getting it back on the road.
