loving the 2 tone 4 door! the 9s(?) on the back look amazing even without pulled arches, seem to fit alright or is that just the pictures? how long till the black beast is back up do you think? and be super careful not to scratch the bay when its painted, looks shocking (first hand experience now hahahaha)

Thanks guys! The 9s on the rear just fit - about 3mm clearance on the inside (coilover) and the guards have been rolled and slightly pulled - no scrub

I really need to make a thread for the silver car, and I also need to stop spending so much money.. haha the silver golf has been running odd lately, overfuelling, misfiring and what not - so I've replaced the carby and have all these goodies to go on (minus manifold, that's for the black car )

haha at the moment it's just a parts whore, slowly being stripped down to a shell, but it's time will come!!

had a pretty slow start to today, but still managed to rip the refurbished rear beam from the black car and get it ready to go into the silver car. I've got some plans for the spare one i'll have - so updates on that will come very soon!







but for now the silver car gets the honour of an upgrade to mk3 rear drums, new bearings and new bushes! swapping them over tomorrow will be fun...

Picked it up off these forums actually! Tassie_euro_mk1 sold it to me so he may be able to shed some light on the situation, they've certainly changed the plans that I once had haha
