    4 doors can look absolutely stunning, and in many cases, look even better than 2 door mk1's.

    ill have to aggree with you there tassie, ive collected about 600 MK1 pics in total now and only 50 are 5drs, not as popular but more of a challange for me to make one look good

    heres yet more pic's ive found - i think im all golf'ed out now - bring on the project... hahaha

    I'm pretty sure they are all the top self modified mk 1's in the world really...

    for some reason the 3drs always get done up more, I found it's hard to find threads on top shelf 4drs (compared to 3dr threads..)

    I've never understood the 3 vs 5 thing. They both look equally cool imo.

    might be more of a availability/popularity issue in other countries when they were new. maybe we had more 5drs come out for sale, marketed as better for australians due to more doors.
