    mk 1 Seat belts

    Anyone fitted later seat belts to a mk one and can it be done peeps!! get mine back tonight and need to do the interior before blue slip and wondered if you can fit later clickers and belts???

    sure, as long as it fits in the original mounting holes there shouldnt be problem.
    I have fitted nissan front seatbelts and clicker bits and it fitted not a problem. looks OEM as well

    BUT, fit at your own risk.. and i dunno if its legal.

    I've done it too, works fine. Just take your current seatbelt set up, and just try match the same mounting holes and you shouldnt have a problem. Newer seatbelts are better, they dont get stuck as much !

    Just go to AUtobarn/Repco and buy some new ones. There's universal kits that bolt straight in.

    About $90 ea. ,100% road worthy and much safer than the old ones.
