you've got the hard part out of the way getting the engine back in!
Not sure whether this is the best place to start this thread but ohwells!
I am in need of some help connecting the engine back up in my mk1 golf
I dont want to admit it but i think i have bit off more than i can chew!
So I am looking for some professional help in South Australia, adelaide city are to get it back on the road.
The engine is now in, i just need to connect the rest back up i guess and check fluids , oil etc i guess.
Would be interested if anyone can help and how much the job will cost

SO basically all ive done is mounted the engine, will do the uni joints tommorow but then im not stuck, but unconfident in the rest. Just wanna make sure i do it right i guess.

yeah most of it will come together once the engine is in the car.
get your exhaust on then the cv's, (torque for the bolts is 4.5 mkg) then get your carb and manifold on and enjoy the day plumbing back up the water pipes and any vac hoses you have. the rest is just ten or so wires to connect the starter, sensors and a few for the carb/coil etc. if you get stuck someone on here will know what goes where

alright I'm nearly there, i have just got to connect the hoses and the wires.
i have connected a few hoses but as for the others i have no idea where they go
